Balance

Legends

Legend Changes
We have decreased the Damage of Imugi’s Side Axe to bring the reward in line with its general utility.

Similarly, Imugi’s Down Greatsword now has significantly greater Recover time on miss and deals less Damage to better match its high degree of utility.

Imugi’s Side Greatsword now has greater Minimum Charge time, granting a wider window to interrupt or evade this Signature. Some of this lost total Damage has been shifted into the Neutral Greatsword anti-air, but we have also adjusted the Force for less knockback distance at most health ranges while maintaining the knockout potential at late health ranges.

As this marks his first balance adjustments after release, Imugi is now legal for all official tournaments.

  • Side Axe: Decreased total Damage from 23 to 21.
  • Neutral Greatsword: Increased total Damage from 22 to 24; Changed Force from 50 Fixed/45 Variable to 40 Fixed/48 Variable.
  • Side Greatsword: Increased Minimum Charge time from 14 to 17.
  • Down Greatsword: Increased total Recover time on miss from 18 to 24; Decreased total Damage from 26 to 23.

Game Improvements

Gameplay

  • Decreased Bubble Bomb Force Multiplier by 32% for more appropriate knockout power.
  • Made various performance improvements relating to shadows and other known issues.

Mallhalla

  • New filter option: “Base Type” – allows Skins to be filtered by their corresponding Legend & Weapon Skins to be filtered by Weapon.

UX

  • Removed “leader chooses” from Couch Party games.
  • Players can now send or accept an invite from the scoreboard screen on mobile.

Localization

  • Updated Turkish localization for ”Battle Pass”, “Season”, and “Progress”.
  • Level-up items have been renamed to their proper name, “Progression” (all languages).
  • Updated Portuguese Localizations for Hardlight Weapons, Asgardian Shoto Lightsabers, and “You May Call Me…” Title.
  • Updated the translations for the “Tryhard” Title in Spain & Latin-American Spanish.

Bug Fixes

Art & Animation

  • Fixed a bug where the hit-react FX weren’t appearing for players being damaged by Imugi’s Signature Attacks.
  • Fixed an issue where Seven’s spear would sometimes not color swap correctly in her Character Select animation.

Gameplay

  • Fixed a bug where the game would crash after a player respawned in Catch Bombs training mode.
  • Fixed a bug where players with the “Leader Chooses” option selected in Couch Party were unable to select a Map.

Mallhalla

  • Fixed a bug where opening Mallhalla through the Chest Tile would limit access to other store tabs.
  • Fixed a bug where selecting the Mallhalla or Battle Pass buttons in the Player Settings Menu while in the “Purchases” tab of Malhalla would cause the Player Settings Menu to remain visible on the screen.
  • Fixed a bug where the primers that say “Reach level 10 … to purchase [the] WHITE color scheme…” with hard earned gold!” or “Reach level 25 ….to purchase [the] BLACK color scheme…” were not displaying.
  • Fixed a bug where some Legends were not being sorted correctly when sorting by Legend release date.
  • Fixed a bug where “Smart” sort wasn’t moving seasonal items to the front of their respective store tabs.
