Leveling

In Brawlhalla, both your account and Legends can be leveled-up by playing games.

Experience Points

Experience Points (or "XP") is the main way to earn levels. On completion of a match, the player will be granted a certain amount of XP for both their account and the Legend they were playing. The higher level a Legend or your account is, the more XP is required to get to the next level.

The amount of experience points earned in a match is determined by how long the match was and if the player won or lost. If a player does not have enough activity in a match (such as when idle), they will not be rewarded any XP. In ranked, you can get an XP bonus for playing against high ranked opponents, in which you can get a 100% XP bonus for fighting Valhallans.

Double XP Weekends

Double XP Weekends are special events that last for a weekend during which Account and Legend XP is doubled. Battle Pass XP is not affected.

Account Levels

Each Brawlhalla player has an account which they can level up. Each account level the player earns 120. The account level caps at level 100.

There are achievements associated with reaching account level 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50.

Additionally, an upgradable Title can be earned by reaching account levels or XP milestones past level 100.

Legend Levels

Each Legend has a level which can be leveled up through gameplay. To earn experience for a Legend, the player must use them in a match, and will receive an amount of experience points for that specific Legend at the end of the match.

The max level per legend is 100, but XP can be collected beyond that level.

There are a few different rewards from leveling up a Legend:

• From levels 2-20, the player will earn Colors, Stances, and Gold for each Level. The order of this is slightly different per Legend.
• At level 50, the player will earn a Title unique to their Legend.
• At level 100, the Legend's name will turn gold when selected by the player - this includes in pre-game and post-game lobbies, on the pre-game loading screen, and on the Meet the Legends screen. This is referred to as "Gilding" in game.
• Any other level-up will grant 120.

The player also unlocks the ability to purchase Colors for a Legend at the following Levels:

• Skyforged at Level 5
• White at Level 10
• Black at Level 25

• 

  Level 50 reward icon.
• 

  Level 100 reward icon.
