Titles are a cosmetic feature introduced to Brawlhalla in patch 5.00. Similar to Clan tags, they appear over the player's username on the character select, match loading, and post match screens.

Account Age Titles
The following titles are unlocked based on how old the player's account is. Unlocking a new title based on your account age will replace the previous one.

| Veteran of Asgard <year> | Awarded based on Brawlhalla account age, where year is the player's account age in Roman numerals. This title upgrades every anniversary of the player's account. It is replaced by "Captain of Asgard I" on the player's sixth account anniversary.

Account Level Titles
The following titles are unlocked based on your account's level. Unlocking a new title based on your level will replace the previous one.

| Legend <tier> | For every extra 100 levels of XP (1,088,462 XP) earned the Legend title is upgraded, with tier increasing in Roman numerals. For example, reaching account level 200 would give Legend II.
The final possible rank is Legend XV, which would be account level 1500, which is 16,326,930 Account XP in total.

Reaching level 50 as any Legend will grant a special title. These are all based on the nicknames given to them from their Lore pages.

Ranked Titles
Titles can be earned in Ranked mode during Seasonal Ranked Queues or by reaching Valhallan rank. Each season, a new set of titles can be obtained corresponding to the season number and queue gamemode. Conditions to meet these titles are the same each season.

Due to all previous Metadevs being re-released at BCX 2020, titles were given to players who owned any of the previous years' Metadevs before the tournament.

Tournament Titles
Titles are granted to players who win (or in some cases place very high) in tournaments. Separate titles are rewarded for both 1v1 and 2v2 champions.
Titles were retroactively granted to tournament champions who won prior to the introduction of Titles.

This title is currently held by V3M_T4NQUIL0 for winning the MAX MODE Winter Royale 2025. It is the only title in Orange. |

Trivia
- Prior to patch 5.04, the Metadev Titles were white instead of cyan.
- Seasonal ranked titles had their colors changed several times:
- Upon their introduction in patch 5.09, their colors were Player, Adept, and Veteran, Master.
- In patch 6.00, these would be changed to Player, Adept, and Veteran, Master.
- These would be changed once more in patch 6.08 to Player, Adept, and Veteran, Master.
- Prior to patch 8.00, Pumpkin Spiced and Sweet Tooth were white instead of green.
- Only 949 Wish Maker titles are available through the fundraiser.
- At the start of Ranked season 32, the strings for S32 Combat Adept and S32 Combat Veteran were incorrectly swapped. This caused S32 Combat Veteran to be granted when reaching Gold rank and S32 Combat Adept after winning 500 matches. This would be fixed in patch 8.08, and the correct titles would be retroactively granted.
- Only 1 faction can win in a skirmish, meaning every skirmish will create unobtainable titles.
