Ulgrim is one of the available characters in the game Brawlhalla. This dwarven blacksmith wields both an Axe and Rocket lance, with his greatest stat being defense at 7 points and his worst being dexterity, with only 3. Ulgrim wears traditional blacksmithing attire adorned with orange highlights over his arms, boots, and goggles, with his large grey beard and headpiece covering most of his face.

Throughout the span of time, the gods of Asgard have always trusted Ulgrim and the Sons of Ivaldi to create the greatest weapons and artifacts of all time using wonderous materials in the Great Forge. That is until another group of dwarves challenged the superiority of the sons by creating Thor's hammer Mjolnir. Eventually, Ulgrim would revive the reputation of the sons by being tasked with creating the mythical golden armor that would contain what is now Orion. Now Ulgrim competes in the grand tournament with his arsenal of great weapons, ensuring that the reputation of the Sons of Ivaldi will never falter again.

With centuries of experience in all kinds of gear, this master craftsman uses his mastery of weaponry to great strength in the grand tournament.

As the story goes...

The Sons of Ivaldi are the original master craftsmen of Asgard. They are the first, and the best. Since the World began Ulgrim has fashioned unparalleled artifacts in the Great Forges.

Thanks to Loki and his gambling ways, a pair of upstart Dwarven smiths from Nidavellir made Thor’s hammer and stole the Sons’ place of prestige. Even though they botched the handle, which the Sons grumble is the only part of hammer crafting that takes any real skill, the new smiths were still celebrated. This bitter rivalry would last for centuries, both sides constantly trying to undo the other.

But when the comet came crashing down it was Ulgrim the gods turned to once again. Only he had the materials to build what they needed. For ages he had harvested hundreds of impossible items, a still flaming dragon’s heart, the core of a dying star, Aesinite from the nether realm. Nothing too rare, and no mine too perilous or too far for Ulgrim. The Sons’ name was finally restored in a suit of golden armor.

Now he wields his flawless Ivaldi creations in the arena proving their perfection with each win. When he isn’t in the ring he can often be found arguing fiestily with Scarlet on her contraption building methods. But always he keeps an eye on Orion and stays close by. Some say out of pride, others say it’s concern for what will happen if the armor were ever to fail.

Neutral		Ulgrim splits an energy clone of his axe before tossing it upwards into the air as it spins, which if lands is followed by Ulgrim jumping into the air and striking the stunned opponent downwards with his axe.
Side		Ulgrim jumps forwards as he splits his axe from an energy clone and slams it downwards in front of him, then slamming the energy clone into the ground shortly after, launching opponents.
Down		Ulgrim focuses his energy into his axe before splitting an energy clone from it as he swipes at his sides with both axes. When done off stage, the bottom part of this signature can spike opponents diagonally downwards.

Rocket Lance
Attack	Image	Description
Neutral		Ulgrim readies an energy blade from the exhaust of his lance before jumping and slashing diagonally upwards with the blade, launching opponents.
Side		Ulgrim stabs forwards with his lance before turning around and slashing in front of him with an energy blade from the exhaust of his lance.
Down		Ulgrim juts forward an energy chainsaw from the exhaust of his lance as it saws away in front of him. Any opponents that are hit by the chainsaw are promptly sawed before the chainsaw blade bursts into energy, launching the opponent. Note that the chainsaw blade will continue to spin until the signature key is released or it's reached it's maximum duration.
