This guide is intended to help players with completing missions for the Season Six Battle Pass. Note that this guide is mainly subjective; there is no one way to complete these missions.

General Missions

Mission Strategy
Slide-charged Signature KOs

70 KOs total are needed for this mission.

Slide-charging a signature is done by charge the signature while still moving off the ledge of a platform. It is typically easier to land slide-charge signatures on maps with many ledges or ledges close to the main platform, such as Big Miami Dome or Tree Fort. Since these maps are typically found in FFA, you may find more success getting KOs there.

KOs on The Fangwild or Fabled City

105 KOs total are needed for this mission.

This mission will take some time as you have to hope you get into one of the two maps. You can improve your chance of getting the maps by banning a different map in your lobby settings.

Weekly Missions

Frequent Missions

These types of missions appear every week, and the strategy is similar for all of them.

Mission Strategy
KOs with specific Weapon

Simply play legends that use that weapon and you can progress this challenge over time.

If you do not feel like you are good at that weapon, you can try using a Legend who has another weapon you're more comfortable with. Once your opponent is low health, switch your weapon to the one for the challenge and KO your opponent.

Light Attack Damage with specific Weapon This will complete over time if you play Legends who use that weapon. To speed up the process, play FFA and focus on only using light attacks with the specific weapon.
Heavy Attack Damage with specific Weapon This will complete over time if you play Legends who use that weapon. To speed up the process, play FFA and focus on only using signatures with the specific weapon.

Week 1

Mission Strategy
Win matches while wearing a hat

The following base Legends (without skins) work for this mission:

Onyx and Vector are the only Legends that cannot complete this mission.

Get KOs with different types of Attacks

Most of this will be completed over time, however you may find it quicker to do in FFA as there is more confusion and opportunities to get KOs.

For heavy attacks, use any character with signatures that you're familiar with. Almost all signatures can KO, so these shouldn't be too hard.

For grounded light attacks, the Greatsword finisher attacks are the best option as all of them give high knockback. Most other weapons' grounded light attacks have or require lots of damage for a full KO.

For aerial attacks, the Hammer has the most powerful attacks. Most other weapons are fine, however, some will not work for neutral aerials (such as Lance) and almost all other down aerials will require you and your opponent to be off the stage.

For ground pound and recovery, any weapon works as they are all rather powerful with these attacks.

Week 2

Mission Strategy
Emote on Kor's Platform Kor's Platform is the leftmost floating platform on Blackguard Keep.
KO opponents off the top of the screen with Down Signatures

There are many down signatures that hit upwards, while some have a varying degree depending on where you land the attack. The following examples are good for securing a KO, however there are many other signatures that can work too.

Win matches with Legends that have been to the Fangwild

The following Legends work for this mission:

Week 3

Mission Strategy
Win matches with 8 or more Speed See Legends with High Speed. This is easiest done in Strikeout 1v1 as you can pick 2 other Legends you prefer playing to help you win.
Win matches with 3 or less Speed See Legends with Low Speed. This is easiest done in Strikeout 1v1 as you can pick 2 other Legends you prefer playing to help you win.
Hit opponents with fully charged Signatures You may find this mission easier in FFA, as it is chaotic enough that opponents are less likely to dodge a fully charged Signature.

Week 4

Mission Strategy
Disarm opponents with Heavy Attacks Disarming is knocking the weapon out of an opponents hand after they've taken a lot of damage and force. This happens fairly often in matches, especially in FFA, so these missions will naturally progress over time.
Disarm opponents with Light Attacks
KO with Neutral, Down, and Side Signatures in a single match The KOs do not all need to be on the same weapon, giving you a bit more opportunity with your KOs. You may find this easier in FFA since there are more KO opportunities, however if you are in a standard 1v1/2v2 mode just keep track of what you have KO'd with already.
Win matches in different matchmaking queues Simply get wins in different matchmaking queues. It should be noted only 7 different modes are required while there are 8 modes total; this means you don't have to play one of the modes. It is likely easiest to abstain from Ranked 2v2 as it is the only one that requires a partner.

Week 5

Mission Strategy
Play rematches In Ranked 1v1 and 2v2, there is an option to rematch your opponent at the end of a game. Keep asking for a rematch after each game until you have played 5 rematches - you do not necessarily need to win those rematches.
Get KOs within the first 30 seconds of a match Use Legends that you are most comfortable at being aggressive with. You will have to do a lot of damage within a short period of time, so give your opponent no chance to dodge or run away. Depending on how confident you are, you may not want to do this in Ranked or Experimental 1v1, as in other modes you are more likely to match up against someone with lower overall skill than you.
Win matches without getting KO'd more than once Use Legends that you are most comfortable with or that have high Defense. It helps to play somewhat passively to observe your opponent's dodge and attack patterns.

Week 6

Mission Strategy
Grab the other team's initial Weapon spawn In a 2v2 mode, focus on going to the enemy team's side and grabbing their weapon. Try to remember where the weapon spawn is depending on the map, as different maps will have weapons spawn at different heights.
Win matches with 8 or more Strength See Legends with High Strength. This is easiest done in Strikeout 1v1 as you can pick 2 other Legends you prefer playing to help you win.
Win matches with 3 or less Strength See Legends with Low Strength. This is easiest done in Strikeout 1v1 as you can pick 2 other Legends you prefer playing to help you win.
Get KOs with Side Air Attacks Axe, Lance, and Hammer are the best options, however all weapons have strong enough aerial Side Lights to secure a KO. Try to look for when your opponent has no more dodges or jumps, as even if they don't get knocked far enough to get KO'd you can still earn one if they can't return to the stage.

Week 7

Mission Strategy
Interrupt opponent Light Attacks with Signatures This can be slightly difficult to do, as signatures take longer to use and light attacks don't last that long to be interrupted. You may find this easier to do in FFA, as opponents will be preoccupied attacking other players. Use signatures that have a far reach and travel distance, such as Cassidy's Hammer down-sig or Mako's Greatsword side-sig - this will ensure you can hit one or multiple players while also not getting interrupted yourself.
Win matches as pet owners

The following Legends work for this mission:

Gravity-canceled KOs with different Weapons

You only need to complete this mission with 8 of the 13 weapons in the game, so pick the ones you want and use the Legends you are most comfortable with. You may also find this quicker in FFA, as you don't need to worry as much about setting up a KO in that mode.

Week 8

Mission Strategy
Win matches with Legends that have the ability to change their form

The following Legends work for this mission:

Interrupt opponent Recovery Attacks with Ground Pounds

This is best done when your opponent is attempting to recover from the side of stage. Keep track of when they are out of jumps, and try to predict when they will use a recovery attack so you can ground pound them.

You may also find more success with certain weapons' ground pounds than others. Gauntlets are a good choice, as you can move left and right during the ground pound, and so are ground pounds with far reach such as the Orb.

Dominate

Dominating requires getting 3 KOs in a single life.

If you are doing this in FFA, try to stay out of fights and focus on KOing high damage opponents while they are distracted.

Doing this in 1v1 modes may be harder, but still can be done. After getting your first KO, you won't be able to get KO'd again, so pick a character you're comfortable with and try to play aggressively.

Catch fresh Items before they hit the ground If you focus on catching items and always throw out any weapon your holding, this mission can be done quickly.

Week 9

Mission Strategy
Grounded Light Attack KOs

The best weapon to use for this mission is the Greatsword, as its closer attacks deal heavy knockback that often KOs. Otherwise focus on using attacks that have high knockback and avoid weapons like Katars or Blasters that only have light attacks with set knockback.

Gravity-cancelled light attack KOs also count towards this mission.

Win matches with 8 or more Defense See Legends with High Defense. This is easiest done in Strikeout 1v1 as you can pick 2 other Legends you prefer playing to help you win.
Win matches with 3 or less Defense See Legends with Low Defense. This is easiest done in Strikeout 1v1 as you can pick 2 other Legends you prefer playing to help you win.

Week 10

Mission Strategy
Get a KO in a 1v1 match before taking 50 total damage

This mission comes down to being very focused. Pick your best Legend and start by playing very passively. Try to only attack your opponent when a window of opportunity is available, such as right after they've attacked. This mission will take longer than most because it is really difficult to avoid getting hit for so long. It could take several failed attempts before you complete this mission. Sometimes you can get lucky and get a KO within the first few seconds of the match.

Getting multiple KOs before taking 50 damage will also count towards this mission.

Be the last player to pick up an Item This can be done easily in 1v1 modes by picking up an item and purposefully falling off the stage on your last stock. Otherwise, you can try playing FFA as it is a timed mode, allowing you to time when to pick up the final item.
Deal damage by Chase-Dodging into Attacks Chase dodges can only be performed after attacking an opponent, so you must attack them, chase dodge, and attack again. This may be easier in modes like FFA or Friendly 2v2 as you could chase dodge and attack a different opponent than the one you hit first.

Week 11

Mission Strategy
Perform Team Combos This is easiest to do in Friendly 2v2, as you do not need to worry about hitting your opponent with your attack - simply attack the same opponent your teammate is attacking.
KOs on opponents who didn't make it back This involves your opponent getting KO'd off the bottom of the screen while not being stunned. Once your opponent is off the side, keep the pressure up on them: keep them in air and low enough so they'll eventually run out of jumps, or gimp them with a down air or weapon throw. If you are playing FFA and see someone about to get KO'd this way, try to hit them with a weapon throw to secure the final blow and steal the KO.
Win matches with Legends that are either part human or used to be human

The following Legends work for this mission:

Week 12

Mission Strategy
Win matches with 8 or more Dexterity See Legends with High Dexterity. This is easiest done in Strikeout 1v1 as you can pick 2 other Legends you prefer playing to help you win.
Win matches with 3 or less Dexterity See Legends with Low Dexterity. This is easiest done in Strikeout 1v1 as you can pick 2 other Legends you prefer playing to help you win.
Hit opponents with Slide-Charged Heavy Attacks This is best done in FFA with Signatures that have a far reach. Maps with soft platforms tend to work best for slide-charged attacks, such as the small platform on The Fangwild.
