Bombsketball

Bombsketball Description Layup! Score points for your team by throwing bombs at the goals!

Bombsketball is one of the gamemode available in Brawlhalla. It can be played in Custom Online matches and is sometimes available as the Brawl Of The Week.

Mechanics

Bombsketball Arena

In Bombsketball, players are attempting to throw bombs at the opponents net (a small floating circle).

Bombs will continually respawn on both sides and the middle of the stage. If a player hits the opposing team's net with a bomb, the will score a point. If they hit their own net with a bomb, however, they will lose a point. The match is timed, and the team with the most points by the end of the match wins.

Near the goals, bombs spawn once every 7.5 seconds. In the center, they spawn once every 3 seconds.

History

Old version of the map.

In Patch 7.07, the Bombsketball Arena received a visual overhaul and minor map changes.

Previously, Bombsketball Arena took the same visual appearance as Thundergard Stadium. The map's visuals are now much more similar to that of Brawlball Arena - the same background is used, though at daytime and with different stage pieces. The goals on each side have been visually upgraded, along with timers over each bomb for when they respawn and scoreboards built into the stage.

This overhaul gave a single new piece to the stage: a backboard behind each goal for bombs to rebound off of.
