Oddbrawl

Oddbrawl Description Inspired by Halo's Oddball Mode! Earn points by holding the Oddball. Earn extra points by landing attacks with it! Get the most points before time runs out to win!

Oddbrawl is one of the gamemodes available in Brawlhalla. It can be played in Custom Online matches and is sometimes available as the Brawl Of The Week. It was also used as the Seasonal Ranked Queue in the Season 34.

This gamemode was added as part of Halo crossover.

Mechanics

This gamemode revolves around the Oddball, a flaming skull that spawns in the center of the map at the beginning of the round. The objective is to hold the Oddball for as long as possible, as each second with the Oddball held grants +1 point. The Oddball also has a short ranged attack with large knockback - hitting a player with this attack grants +3 points.

Holding the Oddball makes the player much slower, both on ground and in air. This makes it easier for the opponents to catch up to the Oddball holder and steal it. Walking over a dropped Oddball makes the player automatically pick it up, even if they are holding a weapon. If the Oddball falls off the map, it will respawn in the center of the stage.

By default, the score to win is 100 points. This can be set to as little as 5 points or as much as 300 points. The score to win can also be set to infinity, making the objective to have the most points by the end of the match.
