TAG, you're IT! Land an attack on your opponent to trap them in a bubble. You win the round once all opponents are bubbled. Bubbled players can't move, but can be saved by their teammates!

Bubble Tag is one of the gamemode available in Brawlhalla. It can be played in Custom Online matches and is sometimes available as the Brawl Of The Week.

This gamemode was added as part of the Steven Universe crossover.

In Bubble Tag, two teams face off against each other. If a player is hit by any attack, they will be trapped in a bubble. They float around in this bubble, but can move slightly by holding a direction, or do a directional kick by attacking, taunting, pressing jump or pressing throw. If a teammate touches a player trapped in a bubble, they will escape from the bubble. If all players on a team are trapped in a bubble, the opposite team scores a point and all players respawn.

The bubble kick has a cooldown of 35 frames, a startup of 2 frames, and lasts 17 frame.

Players can hit opponents that are inside of a bubble in order to move them away from their teammates. Players inside of a bubble bounce on the ground, walls and ceilings, and also on the sides of the screen. When a player bounces on the sides of the screen, they are stunned for 19 frames.

By default, the first team to 5 points wins. This can be changed in Custom Online lobbies, and can be set to infinity to make the team with the most points at the end of the match win.

Players are stunned for 35 frames when they become trapped in the bubble. While inside a bubble, players are always able to use Directional Influence.
