Capture the Flag is one of the gamemodes available in Brawlhalla. It can be played in Custom Online matches and is sometimes available as the Brawl Of The Week.

Mechanics

Capture the Flag map

In Capture the Flag, two teams fight against each other trying to capture each other's flag. Capturing the opponent's flag scores a point, and the first team to 3 points wins (this can be changed in Custom Online matches). During this game, all players, regardless of Legend, are given the same stats.

To pick up the opponent's flag, the player must be unarmed. The player can throw the flag and will drop the flag when attacked. To return the team's flag to the base, a teammate simply needs to touch the flag. The flag can only be captured if your team's flag is at the base.

Sidekick Summoners cannot spawn in this gamemode.

Strategies

• In a 3v3 game, there is often a "Runner," a "Protector," and a "Chaser." The Runner usually stays unarmed as they are the ones to grab the opponents' flag. The Protector guards the Runner against oncoming attacks as the Runner cannot do so themselves. The Chaser will attempt to keep the other team from capturing their flag, thus allowing their team to capture the other flag.
